Only 1000 LBEs issued; half during the event and half on Tuesday 6th May online. Fifty envelopes contained a prize ticket for an exclusive Letter to Lancre. Many LBEs contained the Dead Letter labels and pieces of stamp selvage bearing images and words created by Bernard Pearson.

Bernard cannot remember exactly why he created the images; he can remember that the one shown here was the third in thirteen little pictures. I don’t think we will ever know all the pictures Bernard created.
