The 10P Red Morporkia is known as the 10P ’Cock Up’ because it was produced by mistake. It had been designed for the ’Ride to Sto Lat’ Cover and after it had printed it was realised that in the book ’Going Postal’ the stamps on that cover were described as five 2 Penny red Stamps and a 1 Penny Patrician.
The 2p red patrician stamp had to be produced to replace them. The 10p ’Cock Up’ was given away with issue 4 of the Stanley Howler journal. Only 500 exist.
