CORSETRY LACING BADGE
Reverse
Rather than an excuse for ogling ladies in their underwear, this was a course in the science of applied tensions and pressures and the effects they can have on the female form. Badge winners learned that in corsetry lacing, as in so much else, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, only with lace on top.

Clacks Signalling Badge
CCC-0001c

CLACKS SIGNALLING BADGE
Reverse
In a world before texting there was semaphore.
This Discworld badge would have been right at home in a conventional Scout event. Badge winners were taught to send and receive simple messages with nothing more than a couple of flags and a lot of hand signals. Occasionally the message sent were the same as those received, but this wasn’t essential.

This badge was awarded to budding archaeologists who explore the mysterious depths of the past with brush and trowel. ENTERTAINER’S BADGE
Reverse  The Discworld Jamboree included three ’performances’:
The Witch Trials (think sheepdog trails, only with witches instead of sheep), The Masquerade costumed sketches and, of course The Gang Show. Anyone taking part in any one of these, whether director, performer, stagehand or teaboy, was eligible for a badge. A badge suggested for those brave enough to be in the audience, but it never came to pass.
